Yamaha PSR E333 Review
Yamaha Psr E 333 User Manual Software
Yamaha Psr E 343
Let's take a look at the PSR E333 keyboard. If you're looking for a beginner's keyboard this is a pretty good one. Instead of buying cheaper models like the PSR E233, perhaps you can spend just a little more for a better keyboard. For instance the Yamaha PSR E233 has no touch response. To me this is a no-no in any keyboard. Why not invest a little more and buy the Yamaha PSR-E333? In any case, a lot depends on your budget.
Highly Recommended: Go here for the BEST piano/keyboard course I’ve seen on the Internet.
If you're on a budget, if you're a beginner, or in search of a keyboard for a beginner, if you simply want a basic keyboard, you're on the right track with the Yamaha PSRE333. It sells for about $160 brand new at leading online musical instrument retailers. But you may also be able to get one that is blemished or warehouse resealed for less money. Yamaha offers the option of buying this keyboard with a survival kit for about $35 more. A survival kit includes a Yamaha power adapter, foot switch, stereo headphones, survival kit DVD, playing with styles DVD, rebate coupons and 2-year extended warranty.
The Yamaha PSR E333 features a touch sensitive keyboard. This means that the keys sound loud or soft depending on how you press them. This keyboard has 497 dynamic voices (including 5 Chinese voices), 106 accompaniment styles and 102 built-in songs. It comes with preset digital effects and preset dual voices like piano and synth pad. There are different ultra wide stereo presets to choose from. I really like the Portable Grand Button. At the touch of a button the entire keyboard is set up to play as a piano. For such a low-priced keyboard, it's a pretty good piano sound.
I like the recording feature on the Yamaha PSRE333. This is great for practice as well as composing. With the Easy Recording feature you can record up to five original songs and save them to the onboard memory.
If you're learning to play the piano or keyboard, you will find the Yamaha Education Suite (Y.E.S.) feature very useful. With Y.E.S. you can teach yourself how to play. Added to Y.E.S. is a very handy 'Keys To Success' feature that allows you to practice preset songs, using more advanced lesson functions.
You can even connect your keyboard to your computer via a USB cable, thanks to the built-in USB terminal (to host).
I was pleased with the Auto Power-Off Mode feature. This feature is very convenient particularly if you're operating your keyboard on batteries. The Yamaha PSRE333 automatically turns off if it hasn't been played for a set amount of time. This means that your batteries last longer.
This is a quality instrument. If you're thinking of buying a mid entry level keyboard it's worth checking out. I compared it to other keyboards in its class like those from Casio and gave the Yamaha PSR-E333 the edge. Go here to buy a Yamaha PSR E333, read reviews and decide whether it's right for you.
